Seriously, she loves to play in the cabinets... And she pulls everything out of them when she does...
Which is why there are unused hairbands on the cabinet doors... keeps her out of the glass stuff and out of the cleaning stuff without having to put the locks and big bulky slides on the cabinets!
I used the hairbands on the knobs too until my son managed to open the cabinet doors anyway, pop his head inside and then the doors were clamped on his neck and he couldn't figure out how to get out. It was like "chinese torture". He was not harmed and it was rather funny but after that, I took the hairbands off. Just thought I'd pass that on, I'm sure you're always keeping an eye out though.
This is the ongoing story of our family and holding on to the dreams of our children, the miracles of our life that are bigger than we ever could be.
Nathan and I were married in August of 2005. Our first born, Hope Noelle, was born on June 14, 2006 at just 21 weeks. We knew when I was in labor that she would not survive being born so early. Hope had DS and multiple organ defects that were not compatible with life. Hope was our first born, our child whom we loved... she will always be our daughter and part of our family. Hope lived for exact ally an hour here on Earth, but she will live in our hearts forever. Our second born, Coley-Bob, was born in May of 2008. She has overcome vision issues with the help of great doctors at Duke University and is thriving and growing every day. We welcomed our first son in August of 2009. G-Man is 100% boy and loves trucks and balls and playing in the dirt. He is a joy to have in our home. P-Neal joined our family in January of 2011. We are expecting another bundle of joy in September. Our children light up our lives! These are our miracles, life's truest blessings.
